Thanks for stopping by my food blog!

When I first created this blog in May 2009, I wasn’t much of a cook or a baker and my tastes were quite simple and limited. I also didn’t know much about photography, but wanted to learn.

‘My Food Trail’ started as a repository for me to share the food establishments I have visited and also any recipes I tried. My hubby and I like to go out and eat at least once a week, and often we revisit a place after a long while and don’t remember what was good and what was bad. This blog is reminder of the places we’ve been and also gives other people an idea of the food at a place they are thinking of visiting.

Over the years, this blog has taken me on a journey of building my cooking and baking skills, numerous eating adventures, helped me improve my photography skills and given me the chance to meet some lovely new people who share the same love of food.

I hope you will join me down my food trail as I discover new places and try out new recipes.

Happy reading & happy eating!

Over & Out, April xx

My husband and I just moved to Melbourne from the US. We love to cook at home and are always looking for good places in the city. Glad to have found your blog!

Good work on building the blog into what it is today. I only stumbled across your blog today, and will be sure to be a regular reader from now on.

I’ve just started my blogging seriously this past week and it’s a very time consuming project! Props to you for building what you have, with so much great content.
