Taste of Melbourne 2011 Logo

Now in its fourth year, Taste of Melbourne is back for 2011, better than ever! There will be twelve of Melbourne’s best dining venues offering three of their signature dishes all under one roof. This gives you the chance to create your own degustation menu by some of Melbourne’s finest chefs.

The participating restaurants for this year are:

  • Esposito & St Peter’s
  • The European
  • The Kitchen Cat
  • Libertine & Le Traiteur
  • Longrain
  • Mahjong Black
  • Mezzo & Mister Bianco
  • The Millswyn
  • St Katherine’s
  • Stokehouse
  • Sarti

You can start planning your dishes from the menu here.

As well as all the mouth watering restaurant dishes, there will be a multitude of gourmet food and wine producers from Australia and New Zealand, and other features such as the Australian Gourmet Traveller Chefs Table, Australian Gourmet Traveller Taste Kitchen and the Jaguar Gourmet Traveller Wine Theatre.

I’m excited to try some food from the Millswyn, because I keep hearing about it through secondary sources, but haven’t gotten around to going!

We’re definitely spoiled of choices at this years Taste of Melbourne festival but I’d have to say I’m looking forward to St Katherine’s and their drool worthy dishes (this is just from reading the description off the menu!)
