It’s already Week 10 of the Cookbook Challenge and I think people underestimated the time it takes to participate as the number of people posting their recipes each week is decreasing! Not to worry, the majority of us are still going strong and a few others are taking it slowly and catching up.
This week’s theme was “cool”, which is appropriate for the summer in Australia, though it could also work if you interpreted the theme as meaning cool weather! With the themes over the past few weeks being more dessert and sweet orientated, quite a few people opted for savoury recipes this week. We also had to drinks thrown into the mix (alcoholic of course!).
Here is a list of everyone’s recipes in order of posting.
Rizka from ini, itu – Summer berry parfait
Maree from Melbourne Delectable – Gazpacho
Ange from Vicious Ange – Moon blush tomatoes; Slow roasted tomatoes, goat’s cheese & mint salad; Watermelon granita
Shellie from Iron Chef Shellie – Cassata
Leigh from Chit Chat Chomp – Poached salmon & risoni salad
Yen from Food for Four – Cold prawn salad
Carolyn from Gluten Shmooten – Rice paper rolls
Rilsta from My Food Trail – Chocolate mocha dacquoise terrine
Cherrie from Sweet Cherrie Pie – Quick banana & strawberry ice cream
Anthea from What’s For Tea? – Pineapple, mango & tequila cocktails
Penny from Jeroxie – Caprisoka
Kate from Something by Kate – Spicy chicken thighs with cucumber & cashew salad
Agnes from Off the Spork – Iced beetroot soup

For those of you who haven’t had a chance to post your recipe yet, please let me know via email or comment here when you do and I will add you to the list!
Week 11 is mid-way through with the theme of “Mixed”.
Happy cooking everyone!
Over & Out, Rilsta xx
