Lindt Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

My last Lindt purchase didn’t turn out too well, so when I was in Target the other day and saw this orange box flash before my eyes, there was a moment of hesitation!

But how could I resist trying out these limited edition smooth peanut butter centre Lindt balls? Especially when the description on the front mentions things like “irresistibly smooth” and “milk chocolate with a delectable smooth peanut butter centre”!

They are on special this week at Target for $7.50 (instead of the usual $10.50) so I bought a box. I had no expectations this time around, and they turned out quite good! I bit into one and the peanut butter oozes out of the chocolate and into your mouth. I find the peanut butter on the oily side, but there is something about the slight salty taste mixed with the sweetness of the chocolate that is wrong but at the same time, oh so right!

I think peanut butter and chocolate together is an acquired taste – you either love it or you hate it. My hubby thought the Lindt balls were awful. I enjoyed them, but it wouldn’t be a regular purchase. I still prefer the plain milk chocolate Lindt balls.

Over & Out, Rilsta xx

oh my god! Peanut butter lindt balls! I think I’m in heaven. I haven’t seen these yet, so I think I’m going to have to hunt for them. Peanut butter and chocolate together rocks! hmmmm…I’m drooling just thinking about it!

I haven’t seen these in Safeway or Coles but the Target in the city has a whole stand full in the basement.

Hi Rilsta,

I appreciate you visiting my blog and leaving a comment! 🙂

I saw these Peanut Butter Lindt Balls at Target too around Christmas time AND I really wanted to try them, however.. hubby hates peanut butter and I could see myself consuming the whole container of them. And I’ve been trying to lose weight.

I’m very curious about them and would still love to sample them!

Hi Maria: Hehehe… these are definitely NOT what you should be having if you are trying to lose weight, especially when the whole container of 13 is right in front of you!!

Lorraine: I thought you would love them as I have seen all those chocolate peanut butter treats you get from the US!

Oh wow! I'm another chocolate and peanut butter fan. Hopefully they'll still be around in shops somewhere!
